ILOKISHI PRESS RELEASE AND CONTENT OVERVIEW ABOUT THE ALBUM

KHUSTAR KEEZY DECLARES THAT IF YOU NOT READY, BETTER BE, BECAUSE HE WILL BE DROPPING A MAJOR PROJECT FOR 2023 TAKEOVER

After a certain long time with fans and the industry waiting, Khustar Keezy, a young and talented rapper from JHB Midrand in Kaalfointein, will be dropping his albulm called Ilokishi, from the independent music production called ICERINK RECORDS/Studio.

“It was a real soul searching process, finishing up this project. Its like not speaking with a good friend for a long time but coming back and getting right where you left off he said." His been working on this project day and night on every free time he get and he created several songs already, experimenting with different situation he faced before recording the album, with the challenges faced in the township. It was never an easy thing while trying new melodies with his voice and just finding himself within the music. His been spending a lot of time making sure he is getting the right message across, making sure his giving people true inspiration and influence as the reason why they following him.

Due to his prior releases, his new music is being tied up and held from release. As of coming year 2023 he want the album to be independently dropped. He want to surprised his fans by releasing the album in summer, which will be made available for pre-release on October 2023.

In a recent social medias, Khustar Keezy explained what the new project is centered around. “[ILOKISHI] is an answer to everyone who doubted him. Everyone has something to say about the trajectory of my career and he just feel like saying I’m just doing what is impactful and natural to me. He also have songs that he is working on right now that will continue the storyline.”

ILOKISHU starts off with the vulnerable track titled: Umthwalo Wami, where he recalls the struggles of his early moments, sharing his music on platforms and barely getting recognition and making nothing out of his performance. The projects features fellows called Kahlees and Emo Snii99er, Khustar Keezy also dedicated the project to his community, societies, close friends, families, supporters and music lovers

ILOKISHI 

Ilokishi is a word derived from african language, meaniful the township. The theme of ILOKISHI album is touch basing on the township lifestyle or living the legacy. The album narrate true skills and talents which is hidden in the township slam or ghetto of South Africa which is called ILOKISHI. The Upcoming rappers stated that the album can be an influence to other people, but the main focus of the Album is to narrate their true story of how they living and how the life of township can be.
